Financial Manager

Financial Manager

Professional consulting firm in Mariposa is seeking an experienced bookkeeper/financial manager.

Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:

High School diploma is required.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus
Minimum of 2 years of related administrative assistant/office administration experience.
Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
Strong hands-on experience with Quickbooks Pro
Strong hands-on experience with Bigtime (or similar online payroll system) preferred
Extremely strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work well independently with minimal supervision, handle multiple tasks and reassess priorities as necessary, in a highly confidential manner
Exceptional organizational skills with demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, anticipate, problem solve the unexpected with strong energy, enthusiasm and a positive outlook

Specific responsibilities include:

Provide corporate bookkeeping, management of checking accounts, payment of company bills, management of payroll and accounts receivable and payable
Organize, manage, and maintain filing systems
Organize and manage consulting projects, including proposals, contracts, insurance, billing, etc.
Manage master project list and projects calendar
Monitor and maintain office equipment, office supplies, and work with/negotiate with suppliers and professionals to maintain efficient office operations
Process and manage product orders and payments
Light telephone duties


Compensation and Benefits

It is anticipated that annual compensation for this position will be in the $55,000-$65,000 range, but will ultimately be determined by the candidate’s experience, skill level, and ability to assimilate and provide value to the company.
The compensation for this full-time position will be paid on an hourly basis and overtime requirements and/or opportunities will be minimal.
Upon completion of a mandatory 90-day probationary period and an associated performance review, the candidate will become eligible for our standard benefit package which includes the following:A monthly stipend is provided in lieu of company sponsored medical coverage or retirement benefits

Daily per-diem when traveling
